Fours

Preschoolers at King's Keep begin to make preparations for Kindergarten and beyond.
Our preschool classes currently use the A Beka program to guide their activity planning. Our preschoolers benefit from the excellent phonics, arithmetic and Bible portions of this curriculum. Preschoolers remain in a class with children in their age group for an entire year, allowing them ample opportunity to fully grasp the academic concepts presented.

  • Every Wednesday is Love Letter Day! Parents are encouraged to bring a love letter for their child that morning. Teachers share the letters with the children throughout the morning and then send them home with their special piece of mail at the end of the day.
  • Show & Tell Day is every Friday. Teachers encourage children to bring something that relates to their Learning Board Items for the week.

CLASS POLICIES

Bringing Toys To School
Children may bring a toy to school ONLY on Fridays for Show & Tell. Toys should stay at home the other days of the week.
Cubbies
Each child has a cubby with his name on it in his classroom. On Mondays, parents should make sure there is a clean crib sheet, a blanket and at least one change of clothes in their child's cubby. Teachers send sheets and blankets home on Fridays to be washed.
Arrival
Parents should help their children wash their hands upon arrival in the classroom. Before leaving the child's room, parents should make sure that the teachers know their child has arrived.
